St Tropez

An interesting event takes place in St Tropez each Autumn!

In the southern French fishing village of St Tropez, made famous in the 1960's by the movie star Bridget Bardot, there is a yearly event at the end of October worth knowing about.
The "Braderie de St Tropez" which translates as the "Sale" is a fabulous event in which the entire village is involved. Hundreds of bargains can be found, with items for sale ranging from well know designer brands to profit share schemes and local talents.

As summer fades into autumn, sun tans fade and sun damage is no longer hidden, it 's often a moment when we can feel a little down about the way we look. Your complexion may have more fine lines and wrinkles  it may feel dry and flaky or have lost some elasticity and feel droopy and dull.
This is an ideal time to boost your skin with natural ingredients, replenish it's glow whilst  raising your moral with a look-good/feel-good factor. There is no need to go out and buy expensive products , you can easily make your own for a fraction of the price and keep the left overs in the fridge for a few days in a sterilized sealed container.
Here is a simple recipe to indulge your skin with .
Ingredients:
1 Carrot
1/2 Avocado pear
1/2 soup spoon of honey
1/2 soup soon virgin olive oil
a few drops of lemon juice
Preparation:
Peel the carrot and gently steam until tender then crush with a fork until smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients and leave to cool.
Application:
Smooth onto your cleansed skin , avoiding the eye area.
Relax for 10 minutes whilst the mask soaks in. Rinse with warm water. Pat skin dry gently with a soft clean towel.
